Er ist zudem Designer, mit einer langern Erfolgsgeschichte im Bereich Office Design und Public Spaces. Er iat if Design Award Juror. Als Dozent für Designmanagement und kulturellen Wandel forscht und lehrt er an führenden Hochschulen Deutschlands. Anläßlich der Online-Seminarreihe "Design for Circularity" von ist John Gast-Referent und Co-Moderator beim Seminar 5 "Design for Circularity - Creating new Business Models".

John Lam is an expert in Design Strategy in the context of Future of Work and based in Munich, Germany. He focuses on how future and cultural spaces reinforce change, behaviour, purpose, belonging and inclusion of workers enhancing their overall well-being. John has graduated with distinction (MDes) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University - School of Design and enjoys collaborating on interdisciplinary projects - from conceiving to executing, curating to researching and teaching.
