Design Manager at Décathlon, Senior Industrial Designer and Design Manager in the Electrolux Industrial Design Team. General Manager of Material ConneXion Cologne. 2009 Foundation of beeh_innovation in Cologne. 2012 to 2015 Professor of Design Management at OWL University of Applied Sciences. 2021 Foundation of CIDI - Cologne Institute for Design and Innovation. Red Dot Product Design Award juror and member of the VDID.
John Lam berät Unternehmen und Organisationen zum Wandel in Kultur, Management und kollektiver Leistungsfähigkeit. Er ist zudem Designer, mit einer langern Erfolgsgeschichte im Bereich Office Design und Public Spaces. Er iat if Design Award Juror. Als Dozent für Designmanagement und kulturellen Wandel forscht und lehrt er an führenden Hochschulen Deutschlands. Anläßlich der Online-Seminarreihe "Design for Circularity" von materials.cologne ist John Gast-Referent und Co-Moderator beim Seminar 5 "Design for Circularity - Creating new Business Models".
John Lam is an expert in Design Strategy in the context of Future of Work and based in Munich, Germany. He focuses on how future and cultural spaces reinforce change, behaviour, purpose, belonging and inclusion of workers enhancing their overall well-being. John has graduated with distinction (MDes) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University - School of Design and enjoys collaborating on interdisciplinary projects - from conceiving to executing, curating to researching and teaching.
