Wände aus Stroh / straw-based walls

Um Wände aus Stroh herzustellen, wird Stroh ohne Zusatz eines Bindemittels gepresst und mit einer Kartonage aus Recyclingpapier kaschiert. Die Bautechnik ist keineswegs neu: So wurde Strawtec bis in die 1950er Jahre produziert und geriet dann in Vergessenheit.

To make walls from straw, straw is pressed without the addition of a binder and laminated with cardboard made from recycled paper. The construction technique is by no means new: Strawtec, for example, was produced until the 1950s and then fell into oblivion.
